Richard Canfield has been based in Alberta, but in the summer of 2020 he will be moving his family to British Columbia. He works remotely with his clients in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario.
He is often contacted from Canadians located in other areas of the country. Although he may not be able to service them he may be able to connect them to the right resource or advisor who can assist in their Jurisdiction.
Richard, his team, and his extended advisory network have been coaching and educating Canadian’s on the strategy R. Nelson Nash pioneered in his self-published bestselling book “Becoming Your Own Banker – Unlock the Infinite Banking Concept”. This incredible book has sold over 300,000 copies which is an incredible feat as a self published title. Richard Canfield first met Nelson Nash in 2012 and has had the distinct honor and privilege of mentoring with Nelson since.
Nelson began teaching this concept in the late 1980s and developed it into a seminar platform. Finally, in 2000 the first edition of Becoming Your Own Banker was published. In 2012 Nelson Nash also released his second book, “Building Your Warehouse of Wealth, A grassroots Method of Avoiding Fractional Reserve Banking – Think about it!”. Then in 2013, the Nelson Nash Institute was born. Their mission:

Richard Canfield was one of the first Infinite Banking Practitioners to be Authorized by the Nelson Nash Institute. Since then he has been a regular contributor and presenter at the annual Nelson Nash Institute Think Tank event supporting the growth of Nelson Nash’s legacy and building the 10% movement.
The Infinite Banking Concept (IBC), has been described by R. Nelson Nash as “Austrian economics in action” and has been well described and published in several great works such as:
